Biography
Steven Powers Chylinski
Steven Powers Chylinski started his life as an “Army brat,” the son of the son of a Polish immigrant, and a demure southern belle from Kentucky.
It was only by chance that he discovered a plethora of information about his connection to a little-known historical figure, Joseph Jackson, a private during the American Revolutionary War under the command of the intrepid explorer, adventurer and soldier, Daniel Boone. Imagine his surprise when he discovered his 4X great—grandfather knew Daniel Boone rather well!
As a licensed professional clinical counselor, what especially fascinated him was Joseph’s search for a solid and lasting identity. This was just the sort of task a former elementary school teacher, college professor and amateur historian would take on. Chylinski converted Jackson’s life story into a “based-on-a-true-story” novel.
